We are one day away from Week 4 kicking off on Thursday night between the Eagles and the Packers at Lambeau Field. Each day on CA Betting News , I will break down and analyze an upcoming week’s game and give you the best angle to play in terms of spread, total, or props. Thus far, I am 22-16 on the NFL betting season and 7-2 in my top plays which I unveil on Fridays. Here is one of my plays for Week 4 using the most updated odds from FanDuel Sportsbook and DraftKings Sportsbook:
Washington Redskins @ New York Giants OVER 49
FanDuel Sportsbook Odds: Was/NYG OVER 49
DraftKings Sportsbook Odds: Was/NYG OVER 49
Two poor defenses will take the field in New Jersey on Sunday when the Redskins face off against the Giants in an NFC East showdown. The Redskins rank No. 26 in total defense, No. 20 in pass defense, and as a team have given up 31.3 points per game. The Giants rank dead last in the NFL pass defense and 31st in the NFL in total defense, giving up the same amount of points per game as the Redskins, 31.3 points. This has all the makings of a shootout, especially with Daniel Jones now leading the Giants offense. Jones showed last week how explosive the offense can be with him behind center, even without Saquan Barkley in the lineup. The Redskins, meanwhile, had a tough time Monday night against the Bears defense, but had success moving the ball against the Eagles in Week 1, particularly through the air. Terry McLaurin gives the Redskins the ability to exploit the Giants poor secondary and the Skins should be able to put up a few touchdowns on them. The over in this game makes the most sense to me. Points will be scored and 49 is a low number given how bad these defenses are.
Prediction: Giants 34, Redskins 27
