NFL Odds Report 9/15: David Johnson UNDER 54.5 yards rushing + Terry McLaurin OVER 41.5 yards recieving + C.J. Uzomah OVER 22.5 yards receiving

NFL odds report carr

Thirteen games are on the card today as week 2 hits full force. Closer to home, the Rams host the Saints, the Raiders host the Chiefs, the Chargers travel to Detroit, and the 49ers travel to Cincinnati. In college football, I went 3-3-1 yesterday and 1-1 in my top plays to bring my record there to 5-4-1 on the season. In the NFL, I am 8-8 with several plays pending today. During the NFL betting season, we break down both spreads, team props, and player props for the upcoming games of the week on CA Betting News. Using the most updated odds from FanDuel Sportsbook and DraftKings Sportsbook, here are my best player props for today’s games:

David Johnson UNDER 54.5 rushing yards

FanDuel Sportsbook Odds: Johnson UNDER 54.5 rushing yards

DraftKings Sportsbook Odds: Johnson UNDER 50.5 rushing yards

cardinalsThe Cardinals will travel to play one of the NFL’s best defenses in Baltimore on Sunday. David Johnson had a solid opening game against the Lions, rushing for 82 yards on 18 carries, but today is a different story. The Ravens lead the NFL in rush defense and ranked a third year ago in that category, giving up just 82.9 yards per game. Last week, Kenyan Drake led the Dolphins rushing attack with a whopping 12 yards on 4 carries. If Arizona stays close in this game, it does give the over a better chance, but I am banking on Baltimore playing from a touchdown or more ahead most of Sunday, forcing Arizona to abandon the run game and lean on Kyler Murray’s arm. I don’t see Johnson getting to the 54.5 yard total posted on FD if the Ravens control this game, like I expect. I’m going under the 54.5 yards for Johnson.

Prediction: David Johnson 42 yards rushing

Terry McLaurin OVER 41.5 receiving yards

FanDuel Sportsbook Odds: McLaurin OVER 41.5 receiving yards

DraftKings Sportsbook Odds: McLaurin OVER 42.5 receiving yards

redskinsCount me all-aboard the Terry McLaurin train after week 1. I am buying into the hype of this Ohio State rookie. While the betting sites seem to be careful with McLaurin’s receiving total, keeping it at 41.5 total receiving yards on FD, I think McLaurin is the real deal and will prove it again on Sunday. McLaurin posted 125 yards a week ago on five catches and seven targets. He had another huge play called back by penalty. He is listed No. 1 on the Redskins depth chart at wide receiver and is Case Keenum’s go-to guy. In what should be a game where Washington will be forced to throw a lot of passes, especially with a lack of depth at running back after the injury to Derrick Guice, look for McLaurin to bust out and put up a couple big plays. McLaurin is not a short-yardage receiver. He puts up yards in bunches and is strong after the catch. He could top this after one reception. I like the over here on McLaurin’s receiving yards.

Prediction: Terry McLaurin OVER 41.5 receiving yards

C.J. Uzomah OVER 22.5 receiving yards

FanDuel Sportsbook Odds: NOT LISTED

DraftKings Sportsbook Odds: Uzomah OVER 22.5 receiving yards

bengalsThe Bengals host the 49ers on Sunday and one of the more intriguing props is C.J. Uzomah’s receiving total, which is set at just 22.5 yards on DK. It’s not even posted as a prop as of Sunday morning on FD, although it could be added later in the morning and should be close to the DK line. In Uzomah’s last 14 games played, he has totaled more than 23 yards in 11 of them. He has become Andy Dalton’s go-to guy more than Tyler Eifert in what is more of a dual tight end system, and with the Bengals lacking wide receiver talent with the absence of A.J. Green, Dalton is leaning on his tight ends a little more. Last week, Uzomah caught 4 passes for 66 yards, and in his dress rehearsal preseason game, he racked up 54 receiving yards in just over a quarter of action. I think this number is set incredibly low. I like Uzomah to go over the 22.5 yards easily in this game.

Prediction: C.J. Uzomah 63 yards receiving
