NFL Odds Report 12/22: Patrick Laird OVER 47.5 yards rushing vs. Bengals, Lamar Jackson OVER 60.5 yards rushing vs. Browns, Austin Ekeler OVER 45.5 yards receiving vs. Raiders, Jacob Hollister OVER 34.5 yards receiving vs. Cardinals

NFL odds report julio

Week 16 will kick off today with some critical playoff implications on the line, particularly in the NFC where four teams are fighting for the top seed. The Texans let me down yesterday after a blazing hot start, thus my record dropped to 89-71-2 on the season playing the number. Every day here on CA Betting News, we will provide you with the best plays for the NFL week mixing in some college football bowl action along the way. Here are my top player props for week 16 using the latest odds from FanDuel Sportsbook and DraftKing Sportsbook.

Patrick Laird OVER 47.5 yards rushing vs. Bengals

FanDuel Sportsbook Odds: Laird OVER 49.5 yards rushing

DraftKings Sportsbook Odds: Laird OVER 47.5 yards rushing

dolphinsIf you’ve played the over on running backs against the Bengals this season, you will have won a nice chunk of change so far this season. The Bengals run defense is atrocious, ranking dead last in the NFL. They have given up 100-yard games to backs in 12 of their 15 games this season, plus two 100-yard games to Lamar Jackson. Patrick Laird may not be the biggest household name, but he is the Dolphins No. 1 running back right now and has quietly fared well over the last two weeks. He has received 27 in those two games averaging right at 47 yards. Given their opponent this week, I’ll go on the top side of that number of 47 and bet confidently on the over for Patrick Laird.

Prediction: 16 rushes, 62 yards

Lamar Jackson OVER 60.5 rushing yards vs. Browns

FanDuel Sportsbook Odds: LJ OVER 60.5 rushing yards

DraftKings Sportsbook Odds:LJ OVER 60.5 rushing yards

ravensThere’s the perception that Lamar Jackson will be held back today against the Browns as they approach the postseason, but I think it’s quite the opposite. A win today and the Ravens clinch the No. 1 seed in the AFC. The starters can take next week off and relax for the next few weeks until the Divisional Playoff round. John Harbaugh has said publicly he thinks Jackson should be the MVP and don’t be surprised if he showcases Jackson today. In one of his worst games of the year in week 4, Jackson still logged 66 yards on the ground in a blowout loss at home to the Browns. Jackson has gone over 60.5 yards rushing in 10 of his last 11 games! As I said a couple weeks ago, ride the trend! The Browns can be run on and they will be today. Jackson goes well over 60.5 yard rushing.

Prediction: Lamar Jackson 13 rushes, 89 yards

Austin Ekeler OVER 45.5 yards receiving vs. Raiders

FanDuel Sportsbook Odds: Ekeler OVER 50.5 yards receiving

DraftKings Sportsbook Odds: Ekeler OVER 45.5 yards receiving

chargersA bargain prop right here. Austin Ekeler has cleared 50 yards receiving in his last four games. He has been one of the Chargers top receiving threats all season and gets the Raiders who have struggled stopping running backs in the passing game. I shared my thoughts on the Raiders earlier this week how they will have a major letdown today after their horrible loss a week ago to close out Oakland Coliseum. The Chargers offense will have revenge on their mind, not just for the way they played last week, but to avenge their loss to the Raiders earlier this year. I love the Chargers in this game, and I love for Ekeler to put up a big number through the air.

Prediction: Ekeler 7 catches, 68 yards

Redskins -1 vs. Giants
Dolphins Pick ’em vs. Bengals
Chargers -6.5 vs. Raiders
Falcons -7 vs. Jaguars
Texans OVER 26.5 points vs. Bucs – LOSS
Patrick Laird OVER 47.5 yards rushing
Austin Ekeler OVER 45.5 yards receiving
Lamar Jackson OVER 60.5 yards rushing
Falcons OVER 27.5 team points
Jacob Hollister OVER 34.5 receiving yards
