Thanksgiving Day will kick off the Week 13 season as three games will be going on tomorrow. Thus far this season, I am 74-63-1 playing the number in the NFL. Each week on CA Betting News, I will give you the best plays in both the NFL and college football, including totals, spreads, and props. Here are more of my plays for week 13 using the latest odds from FanDuel Sportsbook and DraftKing Sportsbook.
Chicago Bears @ Detroit Lions 1H UNDER 19.5
FanDuel Sportsbook Odds: 1H UNDER 19.5
DraftKings Sportsbook Odds: 1H UNDER 19.5
Without Matthew Stafford, this is clearly not the same Lions offense, as we witnessed the first time these teams played as well as last week against the Redskins. In the first meeting between these teams three weeks in Chicago, the halftime score was 7-6. There was very little offense as both quarterbacks struggled and both teams tried to establish a running game. I don’t see much changing here. We already know the Bears offense isn’t anything to brag about. They rank No. 29 in the NFL and are averaging just 17 points per game. You also have to take into account the short week and the lack of preparation time on offense as well as the lack of time to rest. Only concern with the under here is turnovers from two teams who can definitely turn the ball over, so I will take just the first half here. However, I think this whole game should remain low scoring, and I would safe taking both the first half and whole game under here.
Prediction: Halftime Lions 9, Bears 7
Miami Dolphins OVER 17.5 TT vs. Philadelphia Eagles
FanDuel Sportsbook Odds: Mia OVER 17.5 Team points
DraftKings Sportsbook Odds: Mia OVER 17.5 Team points
Quietly, the Miami Dolphins has risen under Ryan Fitzpatrick in recent weeks. Defensively, they still have tons of holes that has cost them games and will likely cost them the game this week, but they are moving the football and scoring points. The Dolphins team total is set at 17.5. The Dolphins have gone over this team total in their last two games and three of their last four games. They are coming off a 24-point performance in bad weather in Cleveland last week. The Eagles do rank No. 12 in total defense, but some of that has been aided from a lack of offense in bad weather the last two games. I think the Dolphins at least get to 20 points in what should be a higher scoring game. I also like the over in this game, weather permitting, and could play that game later in the week.
Prediction: Eagles 30, Dolphins 20
